LOCATED IN NEW BRUNSWICK, MIGHT DELIVER TO ONTARIO IF NEEDED
30,000 Each. Must sell trailer first
After 5 years of amazing adventures in our wheelchair accessible travel trailer and truck, we have decided to sell them in the hopes that someone else with a disability will get more use out of them than we have been recently.
THE TRAILER – Is a 2013 Jayflight 32BHDS. Asking $30,000
It has been made accessible by adding a Multilift system at the door, to lift a disabled person from a chair outside to a chair inside. There are Multilift brackets by the queen size bed and in the bathroom as well, to lift the disabled person into bed or the tub/toilet (includes a modified shower/commode bench to fit the tub as well). It comes with 2 Multilifts, a longer one for the exterior transfer and a smaller one for the bathroom. These modifications cost over 17,000.
The right hand side of the bedroom has been widened, I can just squeeze my 18 inch manual chair up to the end of the bed, as well as the hallway past the bathroom to the bunkhouse, to allow access to that space.
The trailer itself has an outside kitchen, outdoor shower and arctic insulation package. It has a queen bed at the front, and sleeps 4 in the bunkhouse, as well as the table which folds to a bed and a pullout couch. It is in great condition, no leaks, 3 new tires, recently resealed, inspected yearly. It has a few cosmetic scratches and dings, but nothing major.
THE TRUCK – Is a 2013 F250 XLT Super Duty Crew Cab 4x4 with only 61XXX KM!!! Remote start, etc.
A great deal at $30,000
The modifications include
- Passenger side Bruno Valet Plus seat which turns and lowers to ease transferring.
- Bruno Outrider lift in the truck bed to lift wheelchair into the back
- A powered canopy cap which raises to let the chair in, then closes to keep it out of the weather.
- An additional battery to run the modifications with a switch in the truck to shut it off and prevent battery drain.
It is currently set up for a disabled passenger, but we do have the original passenger seat – I would think it might be possible to have everything reversed for the driver’s side.
The truck itself is in excellent condition, inspected yearly and it’s never been in the shop for a mechanical problem, just for 2x yearly maintenance, always used synthetic oil and mostly supreme fuel. It has very low KM and no major scratches other than a hole in the rear bumper from turning too sharply with the anti-sway bars on. It has a weight distribution hitch, and anti-sway bars.
I will sell both separately, but must sell the trailer before the truck. If someone buys both, I will throw in my off road power chair for free – it is a 2010 Frontier X5 from Magic Mobility, with low pressure balloon tires – goes through snow, mud, gravel, up a curb. Midwheel drive for minimum turning radius and maneuverability, and has tilt and rehab seating (needs a seat cushion, captains backrest included). Have not had any problems with it but it hasn’t been used much for a few years and probably needs new batteries.
